Applications take up more space on your Mac than any other type of file if you're like most people. Clearing away computer clutter and making space on your hard disk can be just as satisfying. Moving a program's icon to the Trash doesn't mean you can't delete the files from your hard drive or clear up any space. Some of the files that a program might create on your hard disk are unreadable.
